Dreams has announced changes to its senior leadership team in an effort to boost the company’s position in the market.

Both appointments are with immediate effect and the pair will report directly to Jonathan Hirst, who takes over as chief executive on January 1 2022.

Martin joins Dreams from Sally Salon Services, where she was European marketing director.

Previously head of marketing at B&Q and Asda, she brings with her over 30 years of retail experience.

In her role, she will lead the marketing and communications team, developing the marketing and brand strategy across channels.

Singh joined Dreams in 2019 as supply chain and distribution director and has been promoted to chief operating officer, the role previously held by Hirst.

“We are at the start of an exciting new chapter for Dreams and Jo and Kal have exactly the experience, expertise and values we need to drive our business and brands forward,” Hirst said.
