JD Sports has created over 100 new jobs with the opening of a new store in Leicester’s Fosse Park.
The sportswear retailer previously occupied a lot in Fosse Park North, but the move sees it acquiring a unit double the size.
The new store will occupy over 12,000sq ft and will open its doors to the public on Saturday.

JD will continue to have multiple offerings in Leicester, with the retailer also tenanting a unit in the Highcross shopping centre.
A spokesperson for JD said: “We’re delighted to be expanding our store at Fosse Park.
“Our bigger location will enable us to provide customers with an even wider range of products from the biggest sportswear brands.”
