Lidl named UK’s cheapest supermarket for the third month in a row

Lidl has been named the UK’s cheapest supermarket for the third month in a row, consumer experts Which? has revealed.

The German discount retailer beat its rival Aldi, with a basket price of just £26.83, for 21 items of groceries. For the equivalent items, Aldi’s average basket price came in at £27.14.
