Amazon workers have given the online giant until Wednesday to offer improved salary negotiations after staff walked out last week over pay.
Around 450 workers at the Tilbury warehouse went on strike on Wednesday and Thursday after Amazon increased pay by just 35p per hour, City A.M. reported.
Members of the GMB union have lobbied for a £2 per hour increase as the cost-of-living crisis hits workers.

“Amazon is one of the most profitable companies on the planet,” GMB regional organiser Steve Garelick said.
“With household costs spiralling, the least they can do is offer decent pay.”
Garelick urged Amazon to “drastically improve pay and working conditions”.
The action at Tilbury was not the only one as the union confirmed there were also walkouts on Thursday at the online retailer’s depot in Rugeley, Staffordshire while others took place at five sites, including Tilbury, Dartford and Chesterfield, on Friday.
Amazon said last week that employees at the warehouse would receive a minimum of £11.45 per hour.
