Ikea has expanded its in-store restaurant menu with a new plant-based product, encouraging customers to choose meat-free options.

The retailer has launched a new plant-based chestnut and thyme pie as it celebrates Veganuary.

Ikea said it is offering the chestnut and thyme pie with sides of roast potatoes, peas, and gravy for just £4.95 until the end of January.

It is also launching a new plant-based chocolate clementine bomb.

Aside from its in-store menu, Ikea is launching new plant-based mince and plant balls at its Swedish Food Market.

The retailer is also offering 15% off food storage containers and jars until 29 January to help customers save on waste.

The Veganuary offers are open to all customers at participating Ikea stores.
