M&Co has relaunched its website under the ownership of AK Retail Holdings, after buying the retailer out of administration earlier this year.

“The website has undergone a comprehensive transformation, reinvigorating its online presence to meet the evolving needs and expectations of its valued customers,” the business said in a statement.

The new website displays the first look at the value retailer’s expanded womenswear collections which include both petite and plus sizes.

AK Retail Holdings, which also owns Yours Clothing, BadRhino, PixieGirl and Long Tall Sally said other product categories to be added “in the near future”.

Last month the business revealed plans to reopen around 50 M&Co stores in the next two years, with a number of sites launching this autumn.

The Yours Clothing owner snapped up the brand and intellectual property back in February, resulting in the retailer closing all 170 of its stores.

Chief executive Andrew Killingsworth said: “We are truly excited about this acquisition and the opportunity to restore the M&Co brand. M&Co has an incredible heritage and a loyal customer following, and our goal is to honour that legacy by providing an unparalleled shopping experience while preserving the brand’s identity.”
