Asda rolls out café menu on Just Eat

Asda has extended its partnership with delivery giant Just Eat to include items from its café menu.

The supermarket has rolled out the service to an additional 129 locations following a successful trial in 42 of its stores.

From today, consumers can purchase breakfast sandwiches, paninis, pizza and sweet treats via the Just Eat platform.

The supermarket said that the trial period saw thousands of customers placing orders each week, with pizza being the most popular item.

The move builds on the grocer’s existing partnership with the delivery firm, where customers can have their food essentials delivered to their door.

“We welcome over 150,000 customers into our physical Asda Café’s each week and are really excited to be able to offer our customers the chance to have their favourite dishes delivered to their doors through this new partnership with Just Eat,” an Asda spokesperson said.

“This expansion with Just Eat helps to bolster our strategy to bring Asda value and quality to more communities across the UK by giving customers the ability to purchase their favourite Asda products whenever and however they like.”
