TV shopping channel Ideal World has been suspended and had its website taken offline.
The news means 250 staff at the Peterborough-based company could potentially face layoffs.
Revealing the update on its website and Facebook page, the station said: “‘We regret to inform you that Ideal World have had to temporarily suspend broadcasting and our website.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused; we hope to be back online as soon as possible”.
The TV programme, broadcast over 18 hours of TV per day, features goods ranging from beauty to gardening products.
Despite holding a late night ITV spot during recent months, it reportedly was taken off the air on Monday.
The show also vanished from Virgin Media in June, The Sun reports.

The news comes after Ideal World was broken up and bought by Hamish Morjaria a year ago.
However, it was later revealed that Morjaria stopped having “significant control” over the business in February.
The Peterborough Telegraph reported that Sports Direct took control of Ideal World in June. However, the newspaper claims the home shopping network has now been put up for sale, and offers of interest were being considered until the end of last week.
