Retailers including American Golf, Yours and Waterstones have been named in the E2E Profit 100 Track, in association with The Independent, which identifies the firms with the greatest profit growth.
The Profit 100 track is based on percentage operating profit growth over company’s two most recent filing periods.
American Golf topped the list of retailers, pulling in a whopping 723% operating growth.
It was followed by fashion retailer Yours, which achieved an impressive 451%.
Waterstones followed behind with 344% operating growth and jewellery company Boodles saw a 237% rise.

The track only includes privately-owned, UK-based firms with an operating profit over £5m over the past two years, and excludes those with fewer than 10 employees.
Moss Bros was fifth in the list of retailers, with 178% operating growth, while Warren James with 135% increase.
The ranking will be celebrated at the House of Lords today, with a dinner for the 100 companies named, accompanied by some of the UK’s top business leaders.
The E2E Profit 100, in partnership with IWG, is the last track in the E2E 100, an initiative designed to showcase the “best British companies”.
