Matches Fashion has reported strong growth across the board in what‘s being hailed as “a year of impressive delivery”.

In the year to January the fashion retailer posted a revenue rise of 61 per cent to £204 million, alongside an EBITDA of £19 million, up from just £3.4 million a year before.

Customer growth shot up by 60 per cent, while average order values also jumped 40 per cent to £511.

Online sales were a key driver to the luxury fashion brands lofty figures, seeing a 73 per cent rise in online sales totaling 55 million visits.

“2016 has been a year of impressive delivery,” chief executive Ulric Jerome said.

“In addition to recording strong growth across all metrics, we delivered the luxury industry‘s first on-demand 90 minute delivery service, launched 165 tech projects on the back of the strength of our hybrid API enabled platform, released an IOS and Android App which helped us to now reach 50 per cent of our online business on mobile, curated 35 global events, and moved the business into new 48,000sq ft headquarters.

“In our 30th year this business is well positioned for further strong growth.”
