Luxury department store Fortnum & Mason has collaborated with American fast-food chain Shake Shack to launch a limited-edition drinks menu.
The drinks range is inspired by British retailer’s Christmas Merrilossus biscuits, black tea, Shake Shack’s shakes and fifty/fifty lemonades.
New menu items include the Merrilossus Shake and Christmas Cranberry Fifty/Fifty.
“When creating this holiday drink menu with Fortnum & Mason, we aimed to bring the holiday magic that Fortnum & Mason is known for to Shake Shack classics,” said Peter Kayaian, Shake Shack global culinary and product development manager.
“As such, we gravitated towards their Merrilossus biscuits and Christmas blend tea—classic flavours that embody the holiday season.”
Tom Athron, CEO of Fortnum & Mason said: “We’ve been celebrating Christmas at Fortnum’s for over 300 years, and this year we want to shake things up and do it a bit differently. Putting an American spin on our quintessentially British biscuit culture, we’re toasting to another festive season with a collaboration that is a little unexpected.
“It is a true pleasure to join forces with a restaurant group founded by none other than the legendary Danny Meyer, and to find common ground between UK and US hospitality at this time of year.”
The beverages are available to purchase until 6 January.
