McDonald’s names Tim Kenward as new chief marketing officer

McDonald’s UK and Ireland has named Tim Kenward as its chief marketing officer, effective from May 2026.

Kenward will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the UK and Ireland’s marketing division.

He has over 15 years experience in end-to-end marketing across the McDonald’s corporation, having started his career in Australia.



He recently held the position of senior marketing director for international operated markets business unit. During his time in this role, he oversaw the world menu heist campaign which was the fast food chains first multi-market campaign.

Kenward said: “We have some incredibly exciting marketing campaigns on the horizon this year, and I’m looking forward to celebrating our iconic menu items in fresh, relevant ways that resonate with our customers.

“I’m looking forward to using my experience within the global system to combine strong local insight with global best practice, and my focus will be on driving continuous growth, innovation and long‑term brand excellence across the region.”
