Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness is being put up for sale, with a guide price of £18.5 million.
Real estate firm Knight Frank has confirmed that it has been appointed to market the largest shopping centre in the Scottish Highlands as for sale, the BBC reported.
The move marks a major price drop compared to what the shopping centre was bought for over a decade ago.
Harbert Fund Management and Scoop Asset Management purchased the centre for £116 million through a joint venture in 2015.

Asset manager for the centre owner Mark Hewett said: “We are pleased to bring Eastgate Shopping Centre to the market and believe it represents an attractive opportunity for investors.
“The centre benefits from a strong position within its catchment, an established occupier base and a significant role within the local community.”
He added: “Whilst we commence this process, it remains very much business as usual for our occupiers, customers and staff, and we remain fully committed to supporting the successful operation of the centre.”
