TK Maxx is back on the farm for Christmas 2026, but introducing a new cast of characters to promote its value-led gifting proposition.
Titled Festive Crossing, the campaign marks the retailer’s first new Christmas advert in three years, building on the farmyard world first introduced in 2023.
Created by advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy London and directed by Gary Freedman, the 30-second film follows a farmer and his wife as they drive home from a TK Maxx shopping trip, with their truck filled with gifts.
Their journey is interrupted by a stylish family of ducks crossing the road, showing off their new TK Maxx purchases. The fashionable flock, sporting everything from hats and knitwear to boots and sunglasses, catches the attention of the farmer and his wife, alongside the familiar alpaca and goat riding in the back of the truck.
Set to Ciara’s 2004 hit Goodies, the advert builds on the retailer’s Spoil All Your Loved Ones For Less platform, highlighting its range of branded gifts and designer products at discounted prices.
The campaign launches across video-on-demand, online video and digital channels on 05 November, with activity spanning Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. A 60-second version will also appear on YouTube and TK Maxx’s owned channels, ahead of the television debut on 16 November.
The wider campaign will include social media activity, influencer partnerships and additional marketing throughout the festive season.
Catrina Funk, group consumer marketing director at TK Maxx, said shoppers were being careful with their spending but still looking for thoughtful, high-quality presents.
She added that the retailer wanted to demonstrate how customers could make their Christmas budgets go further without compromising on quality.
The return to Festive Farm aims to build on the recognition of the original campaign while introducing a fresh storyline and characters to reinforce TK Maxx’s position as a destination for affordable Christmas gifting.
