Cornish fashion brand Finisterre has opened a new flagship store in Covent Garden, marking the largest of its 11 retail spaces in the UK.
The 2,702 sq ft site on 47-49 Neal Street, replaces the retailer’s previous Covent Garden store on Earlham Street, Seven Dials, which permenantly closed its doors last week.
Inside, the shop is stocked with its everyday garments for men and women, as well as its performance wetsuit, swimwear, and accessories ranges.
Additionally, the space houses the retailer’s third in-store Lived and Loved repairs workshop and a chillout area, complete with coffees and a record player, and has been designed to transform into a 50-seater cinema.
A series of community events are also set to be hosted at the store, which it said are likely to include yoga classes, outdoor get-togethers, and film nights.
The flagship opened on 13 May, with a full weekend of launch celebrations set to follow, including in-store gifting for its first 100 customers on 18 May.

“It also means that we can run a wider events programme to better cater to our growing community in the capital, enabling more people to get involved in our ocean film screenings, talk nights, and live music.”
Earlier this year, Swedish streetwear and footwear retailer Axel Arigato opened a new flagship store in Covent Garden.
The store marks the brand’s second location within the Shaftesbury Capital portfolio following the opening of a store on Broadwick Street in Soho.
