Asos has partnered with Nordic design brand, Arket, selling its products on its website for the first time.
Arket’s autumn/winter 2024 collection will launch on the platform, as Asos builds on its existing partnership with H&M Group, which owns brands including &Other Stories, Monki and Weekday, which are all sold on the online giant.
Earlier this month, Asos became one of the exclusive retailers for H&M’s relaunched Cheap Monday brand, which was brought back to life after a five-year hiatus.
The online retailer’s executive vice president of creative Vanessa Spence said: “We’re excited to welcome Arket to our industry-leading roster of partner brands, continuing our commitment to our customers to offer the best in fashion.
“This collaboration brings together the best of both brands, allowing our customers to explore and style the AW24 collection in their own unique way.”
The move comes after Asos recently sold Topshop. Just three years after buying Topshop and Topman, the online retailer sold a 75% stake in the fashion brands, creating a joint venture with Heartland, an investment firm owned by Bestseller owner the Holch Povlsen family.
