Big 4 retailer Morrisons has branched out to womenswear for the first time, showcasing its debut range through its own-label clothing brand Nutmeg from today.

The range features denim, outerwear, activewear and occasionwear is available in 50 Morrisons stores across the UK.

Morrisons first launched Nutmeg as a kidswear range in 2013.

Last year, the grocery chain crept into the list of Kantar Worldpanel‘s top 20 clothing retailers in the UK by volume.

“We listened to our customers and they said they wanted affordable, quality clothing with real attention to detail and, of course, it had to be fashionable,” Morrisons clothing category director Christine Bryce said.
