Harvey Nichols hires new marketing and creative director

Luxury department store retailer Harvey Nichols has hired Deborah Bee to be its new group marketing and creative director.

Bee, who joined the luxury retailer on March 5, will be responsible for its communications strategy and customer acquisition and retention.

Her remit will also include driving sales, the visual identity of the Harvey Nichols brand, and its creative propositions.

She will report to co-chief operating officer Daniela Rinaldi.

“This is an exciting time for Harvey Nichols and her expertise and experience will help strengthen our brand and business,” Rinaldi said.

A brand consultant, Bee spent the past year working as director of Eco-Age.

Prior to that, she spent 12 years at Harrods, including stints as its creative marketing director from 2014-2017 and editor-in-chief of Harrods magazine for six years from 2008.
