Luxury watch retailer Daniel Wellington has chosen Cardiff as the location of its first standalone store outside of London.

The new 430sq ft store is located at St David’s shopping centre, and features minimalist interior design as well as its range of watches and timepieces for men and women.

“This international brand joining St David’s follows the success of other flagship stores outside of London for retailers such as Victoria’s Secret and Stradivarius,” said Colin Flinn, the regional managing director at Intu, which operates St David’s in a joint venture with Landsec.

“Daniel Wellington is a great addition to our retail offer and is reflective of the growth within this category as a whole.

JLL and Cushman & Wakefield advised the St David’s Partnership. Stephen Kane & Company represented Daniel Wellington.
