G-Star Raw joins Meadowhall amid drive to double store estate

G-Star Raw is set to move into a new 2500sq ft flagship store in Sheffield’s Meadowhall shopping centre as part of an ambitious expansion drive.

The fashion retailer will open its sixth UK store in the newly refurbished shopping centre, marking the start of a push to double its store estate to 10 by the end of the year.

“G-Star joins a strong line-up of exceptional brands and adds to the centre’s high-quality retail offer,” asset manager British Land, which co-owns Meadowhall, Richard Crowther said.

“The transformation of Meadowhall has cemented its position as one of the leading retail and leisure destinations in the UK and the first choice for consumers in the region.”

This will be the 34th new store to join the shopping centre including Joe Brown’s first-ever physical store, Michael Kors and Tag Heuer.

Meadowhall’s £60 million refurbishment was completed in December 2017 after two years in development.
