Asos taps Britvic’s Mathew Dunn for new CFO

Asos has appointed Mathew Dunn to the role of chief financial officer.

Dunn held the same role at Britvic, which he will leave ahead of arriving at Asos in spring 2019 to take up his new position.

The former soft drinks chief has also worked for SABMiller and EMI Music, and will take over the position at Asos that was left vacant by Helen Ashton, who quit in March.

Chief executive Nick Beighton has been standing in as interim chief of finance for the past seven months after Ashton’s surprise departure.

“I’m looking forward to working with Mathew,” Beighton said.

“He brings us a totally relevant mix of operational experience together with a history of implementing and overseeing finance systems at an international level.”
