Wild & Gorgeous enters administration after “facing tough market”

// Childrenswear retailer Wild & Gorgeous falls into administration
// James Stares of JWS Business Recovery appointed as administrator
// Nine staff members made redundant

Childrenswear retailer Wild & Gorgeous has entered administration after “facing tough market conditions and accruing losses”.

James Stares of JWS Business Recovery has been appointed as administrator.

Wild & Gorgeous’ stores located in London’s Primrose Hill and Notting Hill have shut down.

The website is currently trading with heavy promotions while the head office is running normally.

However, nine staff members have been made redundant – which makes up for half of the workforce.

The retailer’s wholesale side is now put on hold for spring and orders have been delayed as Stares seeks a buyer.

Wild & Gorgeous launched in 2016 and has 15 UK stockists and 18 in the US, as well as many others in Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Latvia, Scandinavia, Australia and Asia.
