& Other Stories has ventured into second-hand retail after commencing a trial in its Swedish market with online marketplace Sellpy.
From this month, pre-owned pieces from the H&M-owned fashion retailer for sale on Sellpy will be gathered under a shop-in-shop on the platform.
& Other Stories is also encouraging its customers to use the service by marketing the platform on its its website and social media channels.
As part of the trial, the online activity is managed and operated by Sellpy.
“We’re exploring different ideas on how our long-lasting designs can find their way to new owners,” & Other Stories managing director Sanna Lindberg said.
“With that in mind, we decided to do a small second-hand test project with Sellpy.
“For us, its such a compliment to see our pieces find new homes and get a second chapter.”
