Retail Gazette Loves: Fendi’s pop-up café in Harrods

Ever wondered how interesting it would be to eat and drink in a luxury designer café?

Italian fashion brand Fendi has launched a pop-up café in luxury department store Harrods to offer visitors an exclusive emporium experience – and it’s an Instagrammer’s dream.

The new pop-up, Fendi Caffe, opened its doors to the public earlier this month on Harrods’ fifth floor, and it will run until the end of August.

Fendi cafe London The cafe features an array of Italian food and drinks that have been given a Fendi makeover, including everything from bag-shaped biscuits to coffee and cake that’s presented with the iconic Fendi logo.

The pop-up has been designed in collaboration with visual artist Joshua Vides, who put a monochrome spin on Fendi-branded walls, tables, menus, plates, cups and saucers.

As well as an Italian menu, the pop-up cafe also features a Fendi Peekaboo Bar, which offers shoppers free customisation when they purchase a Mini Peekaboo bag.

Customers can mix and match up to three elements of the popular style to create their own design, and there are over 20 different options available.
