// Dior transforms Harrods into a giant gingerbread house for Christmas
// The takeover that will run from November 10th to January 3rd, celebrating 70 years of Dior at the department store
For the first time in the department store’s history, Harrods has teamed up with Dior for “The Fabulous World of Dior” which has seen the facade of the luxury retailer’s Brompton Road address transformed into a 17-by-17-metre gingerbread house.
The fashion house has taken over 44 of Harrods’ famous window displays for the festive season and inside the store, immersive Dior installations across fashion, accessories, jewellery and watches can be found.
A Dior café is also housed in the store, alongside an exhibition and two pop-up shops selling limited edition gifts and collectors items.

Harrods Managing Director Michael Ward: “The sheer scale and spectacle of the collaboration is something we haven’t done before,”
“Even for Harrods, a brand synonymous with pulling out all the stops for the festive season, the exuberance and joy showcased throughout the takeover is incredible.
“I’m excited for customers to walk in and to have that complete moment of fantasy that Harrods always does so well, which this year – through the magic of Dior – has been taken to another level.”
