Titchmarsh is seen grinning while donning gardening-inspired attire alongside presenter Alhan Gencay and songwriter Khloe Anna.

The capsule collection includes lifestyle apparel and footwear.

The Gardening Club trainers, created by Adidas Consortium look like something your granddad might wear except the price-point is much steeper.

Many Twitter users assumed the campaign was a joke, with countless posts checking to see if it was April 1.

However surprised, everyone seemed to love the idea of the gardener modelling for the campaign, prompting some funny reactions on Twitter.

According to Adidas, the collection is a clarion call to all the like minded ‘avant-gardeners’ out there:  “It is for those who lovingly nurture lawns and meticulously scatter seeds. “
UK presenter Alhan Gencay also stars in the new campaign
The range of apparel, accessories and footwear also aims to offer up fresh versions of  modern, outdoors and hiking trends creating “horti-couture” – products that can move effortlessly from the lawn to the streets.
