Amazon Ads launches new AI creative tool

Amazon Ads has unveiled a new AI tool that aims to help UK advertisers easily create “professional-quality” ads for campaigns.

‘Creative Agent’ allows marketers to access a conversational AI-powered collaborator that brainstorms ideas, conducts research, produces video and display ads and develops creative concepts.

The tool combines information from advertisers’ product pages, brand store and website with customer shopper signals to create marketing campaigns and brand platforms in “hours”.

“This is about more than speed – it’s about giving every advertiser and agency access to the kind of strategic, high-quality creative support that once only large brands could afford,” said Phil Christer, managing director of Amazon Ads UK.



“With Creative Agent, businesses can explore bold ideas, collaborate in real time, and bring professional ads to life, always on, at no extra cost.”

The platform can create multi-scene videos and display ads with animations, voiceovers and music that can run across Amazon DSP, brand stores, sponsored brands and streaming TV.

It was built using Amazon Web Services (AWS) technology.

“AI is advancing at an incredible pace,” said Christer.

“With Creative Studio, we’re breaking down barriers of cost and time, and giving advertisers and agencies the same kind of strategic, high-quality creative support that once only large brands could access. And this is just the beginning – it’ll continuously get better over time.”
