Vans is launching a new flagship store on London’s Oxford Street, which will also double up as the footwear retailer’s biggest European store.

The 4714sq ft shop will stock a selection of footwear, apparel and accessories.

Located at 214 Oxford Street, the flagship officially launches on November 21 to coincide with retailer’s largest global brand initiative – Vans Checkerboard Day.

Alongside being used as a traditional retail space, the flagship will host to a Customs Lab, where shoppers will be able customise their purchases.

In-store artists will help to assist the process, offering a range of tools to customise any of the store’s products on sale.

The customs lab lets shoppers customise their purchases.

The store will also house Vans pro-skate and surf ranges.

This latest store launch is part of the retailer’s wider UK retail transformation.

This has seen existing stores revamped, including its Carnaby Street and Covent Garden stores – which was transformed into the Vans’ first ever boutique store last month.

The new Van flagship on Oxford Street replaces the former Miss Selfidge flagship, which closed down amid parent company Arcadia Group’s CVA scheme.
