Morrisons has officially opened the new concept standalone store selling its own-brand Nutmeg range in Bolosover, Derbyshire.

Spanning 5400sq ft, the shop employs 16 new members of staff from the local community.

The aim of the new concept is to offer a wider Nutmeg range than what is normally available in Morrisons supermarkets, with items spanning womenswear, childrenswear, babywear, school uniforms and men’s essentials.

The concept store will also stock homewares, from alfresco dining kits to trend-led cushions, bedding and candles.

“We’re excited to open our doors today and show customers the great quality fashion led clothing and home ranges we have to offer,” Morrisons Nutmeh store manager Rachel Brierley said.

Nutmeg womenswear is currently available across 100 Morrisons stores, while its childrenswear line is available in all 494 of its stores.

Morrisons also recently launched a standalone website for Nutmeg to make it more easily available to all customers as people continue to stay home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The new website allows customers to buy from Nutmeg’s range and offers a next day delivery option, while click-and-collect service will be available in all Morrisons stores in the near future.
