Although its range can be found across 300 stores in the UK and Ireland, Pep&Co’s “shop-in-shop” concepts were first launched with Poundland in late 2019, whereby the fashion line took up a third of the space of a full-size Poundland store.

The first shop-in-shops to open were at Christchurch, Minehead, Margate, Swansea and Newport, followed in March by Bradford Kirkgate and Nottingham East Point.

Consett in County Durham was added to the list in June.

Poundland said the next stores will have Pep&Co shop-in-shops from this month are Princess Alice Retail Park, Kings Lynn Retail Park, Peterborough Retail Park, Peterborough Hereward Cross centre and Cortonwood shopping park in Barnsley.

This will be followed by Shirley Parkgate shopping centre near Solihull in August.

“Customers fall in love with Pep&Co whenever we put it in one of their local Poundland or Dealz stores – their shopping baskets prove it,” Pep&Co managing director Sarah Morgan said.

“We’ve filled a gap on the high street for family clothing at discount pricing. We’re delighted to be able to now bring the Pep&Co brand to even more locations.”
