Episerver has analysed nearly 1.6 billion retail website sessions to find out why your target shoppers shop the way they do. And here are some of the things we found out:

  • We like to shop from the comfort of our own home, probably now more than ever. 87% of customers in the UK prefer to do their shopping from their couches.
  • The number one reason not to buy a product? Expensive shipping costs. Globally 22% of shoppers expect the ability to click and collect from brands and retailers.
  • 46% of UK consumers will start their online holiday shopping on Amazon.
