Upon joining Zalando, Rogers will face the responsibility of pushing Zalando’s expansion into beauty.

Zalando currently offers 15,000 beauty products across 370 brands and ships to markets including Switzerland, Sweden, France and Italy.

During her time at Boots, Rogers drove the chain’s partnerships with a number of new beauty brands including Fenty Beauty to grow its premium beauty proposition.

In December, Zalando co-chief executive Rubin Ritter announced his resignation at the company’s 2021 annual general meeting.

The Berlin-based ecommerce platform has three co-chief executives: founders Robert Gentz and David Schneider run the business alongside Ritter, who stepped into the role in 2010.
