Levi’s to enter athleisurewear with Beyond Yoga acquisition

Levi’s is set to acquire US brand Beyond Yoga for an undisclosed amount as it expands into athleisurewear.

Beyond Yoga sells activewear for women in a range of sizes, from XXS to 4X, as well as selling dresses and jumpsuits.

Levi’s said Beyond Yoga would operate as a standalone division, and contribute over £72 million to the company’s net revenue in the fiscal year 2022.

Beyond Yoga co-founder Michelle Wahler will continue on as chief executive and report to Levi’s president and chief executive Chip Bergh.

“Joining its portfolio will enable us to accelerate our growth by leveraging the experience and resources of its team and its global infrastructure.”
