// Boots expands Deliveroo tie-up to 125 UK stores
// The retailer will also add gifting products to its speedy delivery offer
Boots has expanded its tie-up with Deliveroo to 125 stores across the UK, allowing customers to have more than 750 health and beauty products delivered to their door within minutes.
The speedy delivery service will be rolled out to cities including Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow and Belfast.
The expansion follows the health and beauty retailer’s trial with Deliveroo in 14 stores, which Boots chief digital officer Paula Bobbett said was a “huge success”.
The trial included healthcare, beauty, skincare, fragrances, baby, food and drink products but Boots plans to add further lines, including gifting to the offer to help with last-minute present ideas.
The retailer said the roll-out of the delivery option was part of its “continued investment in digital to provide its customers with a more convenient and personal shopping experience”.

Bobbett said the original trial gave Boots the chance to “learn very quickly” what its customers want from a rapid delivery service.
“Now as we expand to 125 stores across the UK, we can be sure the products available on the service are well matched to customer needs,” she said.
“Through Deliveroo, our customers can get cough, cold and flu relief products and mild pain relief delivered to their doors to help them with the symptoms of mild illnesses this winter, or baby wipes and nappies for those every-day childcare emergencies.
“Plus, if they’ve run out of their favourite skin care brand, or need a last-minute gift, they can get our great range of beauty and gifting products straight to them in minutes.”
