Asda trials in-store hearing services

// Asda is set to trial an in-store hearing service in three of its supermarkets with Amplifon
// Asda stores in Altrincham, Harrogate and Long Eaton will be used for the trial

Asda will be the first UK supermarket to offer an in-store hearing service after revealing its new partnership with Amplifon, who will provide hearing services in three of its supermarkets

These will include Asda shops in Altrincham, Harrogate and Long Eaton and during the trial, Amplifon will be providing free hearing tests and free hearing aid trials, whilst offering a variety of bespoke hearing aid options.

Maq Din, Asda healthcare partnerships manager, said: “There are 6.7 million people in the UK who could benefit from a hearing aid, so we are delighted to work with an established company such as Amplifon to offer this convenient service in some of our opticians.”

Operating for over 70 years, Amplifon has 136 hearing centres in the UK.
