Dreams has hired a new CFO and CIO as it boosts its senior leadership team.
Dan West, who was previously IT director at both Asos and New Look, becomes the retailer’s first CIO and will be responsible for running the retailer’s technology department.
Meanwhile, Petra Kasperova has been promoted to CFO after serving as director of finance and insight, and will take up her position from the end of June.
Under her new role, Kasperova is set to lead finance and insights, and will also assume accountability for the company’s risk, health and safety teams.
The change comes as the company’s current CFO, Kim Zaheer, leaves his role after 15 years.

Kasperova said: “I’m incredibly excited to have been promoted to CFO and asked to become part of the Dreams senior leadership team.
“Having been at Dreams for 19 years now, I look forward to this new chapter leading the business’ finance team as we continue to drive sustainable profitable growth and deliver our long-term strategy.”
West added “I’m delighted to join Dreams at this exciting time in this newly created role and to be given the opportunity to create a true omnichannel experience, leveraging data and information to help create the best journey for our customers.”
The bed retailer made changes to its senior team back in December 2021, as it hired Jo Martin as its new chief marketing officer and promoted Kal Singh as its supply chain director.
