Superdry promotes Shaun Packe to COO

Superdry has elevated its global sourcing and sustainability director Shaun Packe to chief operating officer of the company, according to Drapers.

Packe has served in his current role since 2019, after joining the business back in 2011 as head of sourcing and quality.

The executive brings more than 25 years of experience in senior positions across retail apparel, including spending six years in various sourcing roles with George at Asda.

The move comes after the fashion retailer’s previous chief operating officer Silvana Bonello resigned from her role in May, after joining Superdry in 2021.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Julian Dunkerton said: “Shaun and I have worked together for 12 years and he’s a fantastic asset to this company.

“He has a proven track record as a leader, his new title recognises his increased responsibility and the instrumental part that he plays in our business”.
