M&S has been named the Official Partner of Silverstone Circuit and will have a presence at “key” motorsport events throughout the year, including Formula 1, MotoGP and Carfest.

As part of the collaboration, M&S will become an official event supporter of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, sponsoring the main stage.

M&S marketing director for fashion, home & beauty, Sharry Cramond said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Silverstone on its incredible calendar of events, including the legendary British Grand Prix.

“We know that brands which are culturally relevant grow faster than those that aren’t, and at M&S we have a clear plan to activate our offer around the biggest cultural moments in the country. It doesn’t get much bigger than Silverstone.”

“Silverstone isn’t just about motorsport, it’s a cultural hub where sport, music and community collide to create magic. We can’t wait to help make this year’s events even more memorable for everyone and we love that!”

The firm will also run a series of immersive experiences, interactive activities and support live entertainment at the event.

The partnership was organised by global agency Octagon.

This move follows the retailer’s partnership with Atlassian Williams F1 Team last week.

Rachel James, head of partnerships at Silverstone, added: “We’re excited to welcome M&S as a year-round Official Partner at Silverstone.

“As two British powerhouses with deep heritage and a shared commitment to bringing people together, this partnership will elevate the fan experience throughout the season.

“A standout highlight will be M&S’s role as Main Stage Sponsor of the British Grand Prix, where their support will help us create unforgettable moments across all four days.”
