Kitchenware retailer ProCook has partnered with DHL Supply Chain to manage its retail and online logistics as it in a bid to bolster the next stage of its growth.

The agreement marks the first time in ProCook’s 30-year history that it has appointed a major third-party logistics provider.

Under the deal, DHL has taken over the operation of ProCook’s 167,000 sq ft distribution centre in Gloucester, handling both store deliveries and e-commerce fulfilment.

The two companies are now set to work together on a programme to improve warehouse operations and increase capacity. This includes introducing DHL’s technology, such as a new warehouse management system, which is due to be rolled out in the first half of 2027.

ProCook said the partnership would help improve efficiency and scalability as the business continues to expand.

ProCook chief executive Lee Tappenden said: “This partnership is an important milestone for ProCook.

“As we continue to grow, we wanted a logistics partner with the expertise, scale and capability to support our ambitions.”

DHL Supply Chain UK & Ireland managing director of retail and e-commerce Spencer Conday added: ““We are delighted to partner with ProCook and support the next stage of its growth.

“The successful transition of the Gloucester operation is a testament to the close collaboration between our teams. We are particularly pleased to welcome ProCook’s colleagues into DHL and look forward to supporting their development as part of our business.”
