Boden is continuing its investment in the United States with the launch of its newest store in Nashville, Tennessee, and the announcement of a third standalone location set to open this autumn in Birmingham, Alabama.
The expansion marks “a significant milestone” in the fashion brand’s growing US retail presence, building on its first American store launch in Atlanta, Georgia, last year.
The new shop has opened at Hill Center Green Hills in Nashville. The 1,700-square-foot space forms the retailer’s second standalone US location and its first retail opening of 2026.
The store features bespoke chandeliers by London designer Richard Taylor, alongside vintage furniture sourced from the UK and artwork by Boden collaborator and British illustrator Charlotte Farmer.
In the fitting rooms, custom wallpaper by US printer Little Cocalico features archival Boden catalogue imagery. Additionally, a vintage London map print designed by Boden’s in-house print team is displayed throughout the accessories and dressing room area.
A library curated by the business’s founder and creative director Johnnie Boden also celebrates London, photography, art and design.
The Nashville store opens with a “high-summer womenswear edit” from the company’s July collection. This features colourful linen, printed dresses and swimwear that showcase the brand’s signature use of print, colour and craftsmanship.
Following Nashville, Boden is set to open its third US store this autumn at The Summit in Birmingham, Alabama, measuring 2,000 sq ft.
Since launching online in the United States in 2002, Boden has built a loyal customer base nationwide, according to the retailer.
The addition of its Nashville and Birmingham stores reflect the next phase of its strategy to “complement its strong digital business with carefully selected physical retail locations in key US markets”.
