Tesco has announced its biggest-ever expansion of Clubcard, allowing customers to collect loyalty points when shopping with more than 500 new partner brands.
It has significantly expanded its Clubcard Points Partners scheme, giving members the opportunity to earn points on purchases from major retailers including Nike, Boden and Ticketmaster.
The move marks a substantial increase from the previous 13 external Points Partners, with the new offering spanning fashion, beauty, homeware, travel and entertainment.
Under the expanded scheme, customers can earn points on everyday spending outside Tesco, with some partners offering more than the standard one point per £1 spent.
For example, Nike is currently offering up to four Clubcard points per £1 spent, meaning a £100 purchase could earn 400 points, equivalent to a £4 Clubcard voucher.
Customers can then exchange their vouchers with selected Tesco Reward Partners, including seven restaurant partners offering triple value, potentially turning a £4 voucher into £12 towards a meal.
Tesco group loyalty and membership director Shama Wilson said: “We’re really excited to be giving Clubcard members even more ways to collect points on more brands they already know and love.
“Today marks the biggest expansion of the partner brands where customers can collect Clubcard points, with more than 500 brands now available across fashion, beauty, home, travel and more.
“As we head into Black Friday and Christmas, customers can collect points on spending they’re planning to do and turn those points into rewards that matter most to them.”
Tesco has partnered with loyalty technology provider Valuedynamx to launch the new Clubcard Points Partner platform.
To earn points, Clubcard members must access participating retailers’ online stores through the Clubcard section of the Tesco app or via the Clubcard website.
