Hobbs joins physical sites in Germany

British fashion retailer Hobbs is ready to launch its new lines department stores in Germany this year.

The retailer‘s further expansion follows its successful growth in USA and Sweden in addition to its popular etail presence in Germany and Australia.

As part of its international expansion strategy, the womenswear brand will initially supply its designs in four premium department stores in Nurnberg and Ulm with Wohrl, and in Bonn and Trier with SinnLeffers. The four locations will offer exclusive products, carefully selected to meet the German consumer‘s taste.  

Hobbs noted that there is the potential to open more concessions in 2017.

“This is an exciting move for the Company, in line with our international growth strategy. We are delighted to have built a firm following of German customers via our e-commerce offering, and we are looking forward to exciting even more customers with our blend of modern design and timeless craftsmanship through our new store-presence on the ground” said CEO Meg Lustman.
