// Ben Barnett ends 14-year-stint with TFG London brands
// Hobbs managing director Justin Hampshire named as replacement
TFG London chief executive Ben Barnett will leave the retail group next year, according to Drapers.
Barnett joined the Whistles, Hobbs and Phase Eight owner in 2007, and will step down in June 2021 after his fourteen years at the helm.
Hobbs managing director Justin Hampshire has been named as Barnett’s successor, and will take up the role of group managing director.
Hampshire joined the TFG London fold in March 2016 when the group acquired Hobbs.
“The last 14 years have been an incredible journey, on which I have been privileged to work with an exceptionally talented team of people,” Barnett told Drapers of his departure.
“Whilst it will be tough to personally step back from the brands we have built together, I am delighted to be handing over to Justin and confident that he is the right person to lead our store and head office teams in the next phase of our brands’ development.”
