Harvey Nichols has also launched several in-store activities as part of its Christmas campaign, including fairground games like hook-a-duck and ring toss, and a claw grabber machine.

The retailer has over 4,000 prizes to be won including items from Nars, Ganni, and Charlotte Tilbury.

Fellow luxury retailer Harrods unveiled its festive window displays this week, partnering with Maison Valentino while Selfridges launched its theatrical-themed window at the start of the month, dubbed “Showtime”.

Harvey Nichols head of visual display said Janet Wardley: “This year our Christmas windows convey the energy and excitement of a contemporary funfair that has arrived in Knightsbridge.

“To create this, we’ve used thousands of programmed LED lights, some fitted into colourful graphic panels, while others create interesting visual effects flooding the windows with changing pattern and colours.

“The resulting bright, uplifting, and energetic scene sits well in the busy street outside the store and entices our customers to stop for a moment to see the beautiful clothing and gifts on display and entices them to come inside the store to discover more.”
