Administrators for Quiz Clothing have confirmed that the retailer’s remaining stores will close over the coming weeks, with all locations expected to cease trading by June 2026.
The update comes from joint administrators at Interpath, who said a phased closure programme is now underway across the chain’s remaining 37 stores.
Three stores in Castlecourt, Leeds and Romford have already shut, while remaining branches are continuing to trade as part of a final clearance push.
Administrators said all remaining stock is being redistributed across the estate and is “selling fast”, with discounts of at least 60% across clothing, footwear and accessories. Some items are being sold for as little as £5 and £10.
Head of Interpath in Scotland and joint administrator Alistair McAlinden said: “As we head into the May Bank Holiday weekend, we would encourage shoppers to visit their local store as we commence our final closing down sale.”
Interpath managing director and fellow joint administrator Geoff Jacobs added: “We’d once again like to say a huge thank you to Quiz staff who have shown such dedication and professionalism under difficult circumstances.”
Founded in Scotland in 1993, Quiz operated 40 UK stores and seven concessions in the Republic of Ireland prior to entering administration earlier this year, in February 2026.
It is the second time the embattled fashion retailer, which had a significant presence across shopping centres and high streets including Glasgow, Manchester, Cardiff, Watford and Belfast, has entered administration after closing 23 stores and axing 200 jobs in February 2025.
