H&M Group has confirmed a new partnership with fashion logistics specialist Bleckmann, who will act as its new third-party logistics provider.
It will reportedly use Bleckmann’s warehouse in Crick, Northamptonshire, to lead logistics operations for a number of brands within the H&M Group portfolio.
The site sits within Bleckmann’s Midlands ‘Golden Triangle’ network, with the group making further investment in its UK operations to boost capacity.
Work is currently under way to install an advanced AutoStore system at the operation, which Bleckmann said would increase flexibility, capacity and fulfilment efficiency.
Bleckmann chief operations officer for Belgium and the UK Reinardt van Oel said expanding its operations and client base was “essential to meeting the growing demand from existing and new clients”.
He added that the business was “proud to now count H&M Group among our clients” and was looking forward to the partnership.
The H&M deal marks the latest major fashion client win for Bleckmann. It already works with brands including Superdry, Gymshark and Blakely, while Belgian-British sustainable footwear brand Nuoceans appointed the business as its logistics partner in June.
Nuoceans selected Bleckmann’s Bscale fulfilment platform to handle warehousing, order processing and returns.
Dancewear giant Capezio also appointed Bleckmann as its third-party logistics provider earlier this year, handing it responsibility for warehousing and distribution as the brand sought greater scale and flexibility.
