Boxpark is set to move into Wembley Park after signing a 10-year joint venture agreement for its third shipping container-based retail and food destination in the capital.

The 43,000sq ft scheme, which will open in 2018, will host 29 independent retailers and food and beverage operators and will be located on Olympic Way – also known as Wembley Way.

It will be the first Boxpark in the north west of London and third in the city, following sites in Shoreditch and Croydon.

Boxpark Wembley will also form part of the landmark regeneration of Wembley Park by Quintain.

“Boxpark Wembley is located in an iconic location, on Olympic Way in Wembley Park,” Boxpark founder and chief executive Roger Wade said.

“We hope to work closely with Quintain, Brent Council and other venue operators on the site to develop a world class food, drink and entertainment destination, and possibly the best fan park in the world.”
