VF Corporation has been recognised as one of the world’s most ethical companies by the Ethisphere Institute, a company that specialises in the standards of ethical business practices.

This is the US fashion retail company’s third consecutive year to receive the status.

VF Corp is the parent company of retailers The North Face, Timberland, and Vans.

The company is one of two retail businesses to make the list – with H&M also making its way on the list – which further empathises on its initiative to lead its industry through ethical business standards and practices.

“As a Purpose-led company, we take deliberate actions to embed high ethical, social and environmental standards throughout all aspects of our business,” VF chairman, president and chief executive Steve Rendle said.

“This recognition is a testament to the commitment of VF associates across our global enterprise to work with integrity and lead by example.”
