Scotch & Soda strengthens executive leadership team

// Scotch & Soda appoints new CEO for the Americas, CMO and COO

Amsterdam-based fashion retailer Scotch & Soda has announced a series of appointments, reinforcing the management team that will support recently named chief executive Frederick Lukoff in the next phase of the brand’s global development.

Karis Durmer has been named chief executive for the Americas, based in New York where she’ll report to Lukoff and will be responsible for North and South America.

Durmer will join the retailer in April from Altuzarra, a New York based women’s luxury brand where she has been chief executive for the last eight years.

Stephane Jaspar has been appointed chief marketing officer, and Ludovic Le Gourrierec as chief commercial officer, a newly created role.

Stephane Jaspar spent 17 years at Stella McCartney and most recently worked at luxury retailer The Webster.

He will develop and implement marketing and communications initiatives worldwide and oversee brand identity and consumer experience.

Ludovic Le Gourrierec brings more than 25 years’ experience in the fashion industry and will oversee retail, wholesale, ecommerce and franchise across all regions except for the Americas.

Both will now be based in Amsterdam and will also report directly to Lukoff, who joined the retailer in September 2019 as chief executive.

The newly appointed roles to the global management team reflect Scotch & Soda’s ambitions for growth in the future.
