N Brown chairman Matt Davies is set to step down from the business at the end of March to spend more time on other business activities.
He will be replaced as chairman by Ron McMillan on March 31, who will relinquish his roles as senior independent director and audit committee chair of N Brown.
McMillan is currently audit committee chair and senior independent director of B&M and ScS. He also serves as audit committee chair of Homeserve.

“The board would like to thank Matt for his contribution over the past three years and for guiding the business through a successful refinancing and transfer to AIM,” N Brown said.
Meanwhile, Gill Barr will succeed McMillan as the senior independent director and Vicky Mitchell will assume the audit committee chair role on an interim basis.
The group, which owns Simply Be, Jacamo and JD Williams, is currently working to recruit an additional independent non-executive director who will become the permanent audit committee chair.
